Arsenal Scrape Sevilla Draw

Arsenal placed one hand on the Armstedarm tournament trophy with 1-1 draw against Sevilla on Saturday night.
A resilient and youthful gunners team scored early, held on for long period of the game but Sevilla eventually ( and deservedly) leveled in the second half.
A goal from the young Mexican starlet Carlos Vela in the fourth minutes gave Arsenal the early lead. Vela quickly closing down the Sevila defence on the left flank, dribbling into the box and smartly shooting across goalkeeper Varas to count an early lead.
The Spanish Super Cup champions Sevila put more pressure on the gunners side in most of the play. The late goal from Javier Chevanton gave Sevilla an equalizer. However the goal was unlikely to change the winners of this year's Armstedarm Tournament.
Just before final whistle, substitute Romaric had an opportunity to win the game for Sevilla. A corner came out to the Ivorian, who, from 25 yards unleashed a low drive but Arsenal goalkeeper Fabianski caught the ball untroubled.
The match ended as a 1-1 draw. Sevilla accumulating 8 points over the tournaments, Arsenal top the table and look set to claim the trophy.
